otak-otak
Otak-otak is Indonesian traditional fish cake which is seasoned and mixed with flour and other ingredients. This fish cake is wrapped with banana leaves and then grilled and it is usually served with spicy peanut sauce.
The most famous otak-otak comes from Palembang and Makassar (two big cities in Indonesia), but it is easily found in Java island and some other parts of Indonesia.
Otak-otak is often served as an appetizer or afternoon snack due to its relatively small size and savory flavor.
