The Da Ci’en Temple
The Da Ci’en Temple is the home of the big wild goose pagoda. In order to commemorate the dead virtuous queen, royalty ordered to build a temple named Ci’en meaning kindness and mercy, for which the status and the scale far exceeded all others. In present day, the temple has an area of 32314 square meters which is one seventh of the original area, but still remain its grandeur.
