Mild Steel
Mild steel is made of low carbon components of ingot iron. This is a chemically pure type of iron which is heated with coke and gypsum or lime at high temperatures in a blast furnace. The right balance of carbon in the mixture must be attained as too much will make the steel brittle while too little will make it too soft.
