A few steps from the most prestigious showcases of sewing, a Renaissance palace houses the inspiration Galliera museum. Over monographic exhibitions - big names in couture, fashion figures - or themes - decades, types of clothing, games influence - the museum showcases some of its priceless and fragile collections that reflect the genius creative fashion of the eighteenth century to the present day. The museum has no permanent collection. When it reopens in fall 2013, after the work up to safety standards and accessibility, the museum will host its public in a building with improved infrastructure.
