gudeg
Gudeg is a popular dish originated from Jogjakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. It is made of green jack fruits which are stewed for a couple of hours and seasoned with palm sugar and coconut milk, which make its broth sweet and thick.
Gudeg is served with some condiments and accompanying dishes like sambal (chilli-based sauce), tofu, tempe (soybean cake), shredded chicken meat, hard boiled egg, and krecek (crispy cow skin crackers), and steamed rice.
