• Attaches hairspring and balance assembly, train, escapement, winding and setting mechanism, mainspring, jeweled bearings, and bridges, using tweezers, hand staker (press), and other watchmaker's tools, and loupe.
• Inspects movement for accuracy, diagnoses cause of defects, and replaces defective parts.
• Adjusts subassemblies, such as truing ii balance and banking escapement.
