This was built at the place where Sweet Jackfruit was offered to the Arahaths by the tradesmen during the time of King Dutugemunu.This is also a temple.There are mnay valuable paintings.Main temple is the oldest among the three temples at Ridi Vihara.There are several entrances to the Maha Vihara and the Wooden Doors are in very good condition still.

The most acclaimed is the carving called the Pancha Nari Ghata or the "Five maiden entwined" ivory design.
