• Selects specified grinding and polishing tools and secures tools to machine spindles, using handtools.
• Turns adjustment screws to set radius of grinding and polishing arm stroke according to size of lens holding block.
• Sets time cycle which automatically stops machines on completion of grinding and polishing process.
• Tilts and secures generator machine head at required angle with workpiece according to specified curve and thickness of lens.
• Installs and adjusts lens holders and diamond wheel on edging machines according to diameter of lens.
• May dress grinding wheel.
