imperative sentence
An imperative sentence gives a command. Often the subject is not stated, but is understood to be "you." An imperative sentence can end with a period or an exclamation point, depending upon the urgency of the command.
Examples:
Take out the trash. (subject is "you")
Please dry the dishes.
Stop!
