A professional who assists hand drawer-in to prepare warp for weaving. Responsibilities include:

• Conveys beams of warp from warper, slasher, or storage to drawing-in frame, and removes completed draw-in assembly, using handtruck.
• Assists hand drawer-in to position harness, reed, and drop wires on drawing frame, and fastens ends of warp on frame with clamp bar.
• May place warp beam on brackets of loom, using hoist, and lay ends in position for drawing-in with reed hook. Performs other duties as described under helper master title.
