A professional who directs and coordinates activities involved with production, sale, and distribution of bakery products. Responsibilities include:
- Determines variety and quantity of bakery products to be produced, according to orders and sales projections.
- Develops budget for bakery operation, utilizing experience and knowledge of current market conditions.
- Directs sales activities, following standard business practices.

- May manage bakery that sells products to general public.
