Mark Wilson

In 1954, when television was a new medium, Mark Wilson was the first magician to bring his act to the small screen. Best known for his "The Magic Land of Allakazam" series and "Magic Circus" specials. Wilson, along with Nani Darnell Wilson, his wife and assistant, not only appeared regularly on television, they headlined in Las Vegas and regularly performed at high-end corporate events.

When he was in high school, Wilson performed magic at Douglas Magic Land in Dallas, Texas. Later, he majored in advertising at Southern Methodist University. In 1954, Wilson unveiled his first television series, "Time for Magic," which ran in Dallas. The show was sponsored by Dr. Pepper.
