John Entwistle was born on 9 October 1944 and died 27 June 2002. He was known as a British musician, songwriter, singer, producer, and also playing bass guitar for The Who. John was listed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together with other members of The Who in 1990. What is more, Rolling Stone readers in 2011 called him as the greatest bassist of all time.
