John Frusciante is an American guitarist, songwriter, singer, and producer, who was best known as the guitarist of the funk-rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP). He has experienced great success with RHCP for many years. However, he then decided to leave the band and continued his career as solo singer.
