Jennifer Tallulah "Jenny" Humphrey was born on 2 April 1993. Little J the daughter of Rufus Humphrey, an editor for beat poets who has never been published himself, and Allison Humphrey, who ran off with a European aristocrat. She has an older brother Dan Humphrey, who is an aspiring writer. Jenny is a student at the Constance Billard School for Girls, a small, elite, all-girls school located on the Upper East Side, which Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf also attend.
