Hermione invented this jinx during the formation of Dumbledore's army. This causes boils or pimples to break out on a traitor's forehead, spelling out the work "sneak." The jinx was placed on the parchment where all the members of Dumbledore's Army signed. This jinx may have been inspired by the Fumunculus spell which also causes boils or pimples.
