Burj Al Arab
Burj Al Arab or The Arabian Tower is the world's tallest full hotel building located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If mixed use buildings are counted, then the Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center in China both have hotels that are located on higher floors. At 1,053 ft (321 m), the tower is designed to take on the form of a giant ship sail as a part of its structural expression. Designed by W.S. Atkins & Partners, Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 920 ft (280 m) from Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curved bridge. Burj al Arab was one of the most expensive buildings ever built and is one of the world's top 7 star hotels.
