She was the CEO of Burberry between 2006 and 2014.On October 14, 2013, it was confirmed that she would join Apple Inc. in mid-2014 to head its retail business.Ahrendts was ranked 49th in Forbes' 2014 list of the most powerful women in the world and 9th most powerful woman in the U.K. in the BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour 100 Power List.
