The Anara Tower was a proposed super-tall skyscraper located in Dubai that was subsequently canceled due the 2007-2012 global financial crisis. Designed by Atkins Designs Studio, the 125-story and 1,968 feet (600 meters) tall skyscraper would have featured an eye-catching propeller-shaped crown. Anara Tower was intended as a mixed-use superstructure that would provide residences, offices, retail spaces, a hotel, and a world-class art gallery.
Shaped like super-massive wind turbine, the tower would feature sky gardens every 27 floors and boast a luxury restaurant situated within the glassy capsule in the center of the tower's peak. The skyscraper would also incorporate water and energy efficiency technologies that take advantage of renewable sources of energy.
