The son of Osiris and Isis, and the king of Egypt. He is the god of sky, war, and falcons. In honor of Horus, Egyptian falcon statues were erected. He is often depicted in hieroglyphs and symbols as a stylized eye. Egyptian pharaohs were taken to be the living Horus.
